How did you start playing football?
“Everyone growing up in England plays football. It’s the National Sport and the country is very much indulged in the sport from an early age. So for my I was just growing up with the culture of the country, playing football, spending time with my friends and enjoying my time with a football at my feet.”
What made you play for the national team?
“Playing for the national team is an honour, something that players spend their whole career wanting to do. From a young age you dream about playing in front of your people, while they get behind you and cheer while your on the field. This being said once I had the chance to play for the national team there was no stopping me.”
What’s your message for all the Filipinos out there?
“My message would be, keep football in your hearts, sometimes it hurts it, sometimes it will break it but no matter the situation, Football always finds a way of putting everything back together and bringing people together and that’s why the sport is the best in the world.”
